A couple questions for you: what is the flow rate and what is the temperature set at?
10 seconds seems a little fast unless the flow rate is large and/or the temp is low. I would recommend raising the temp of the heater and see if that helps.
The Ariston is a great heater for the application you have installed it in. However, the 2.5 gallon option may be a little small for this application. 45ft of 3/4 line holds about 4.5 gallons of water. When the Ariston has used all of the hot water, it will fill with cold water and it make take a few minutes to fill up with the hot water from the 250SX heater. I would recommend the Ariston 6+ model for this application.
